| Biography
Born Florinda Bulcao, this tall, leggy, brunette Spanish-Indian leading lady is proficient in several languages. She worked in the PR department of the Brazilian national airline, then went to Paris and studied art at the Sorbonne for two years. While visiting Italy in 1967, she met director Luchino Visconti, who felt she had potential as a screen actress; besides recommending her to several other directors, he also cast her (as a prostitute) in his The Damned (1969). With her classic features she soon became a popular star in Europe, gaining international recognition after her appearance in De Sica's A Brief Vacation (1973).

- Formerly a Flight Inspector for VARIG. Brazil's national airflight company, she is fluent in Portuguese (Brazil), English, Italian, and French. Lived for some time in New York with Helmut Berger, but strictly as friends to share one of two apartment rents.
- Was one of the judges in the Miss Universe pageant in 1976.
- Born in Brazil, made a sucessful career in Italian cinema. In her homeland, she only worked three times during her lasting career: in 1987 (soap "A Rainha da Vida"), in 1998 (movie "Bella Donna") and in 2000 (acting and directing, movie "Eu Não Conhecia Tururu").
