• She and her husband, Tim Reid, once had a syndicated talk show called "The Tim and Daphne Show" for King World in 1990-1991.
• Also a costume designer and has frequently created her own TV wardrobe. Moreoever, she once guest-hosted ABC's "Home Show" where she showed off many of her designs, and subsequently put together a four video and pattern kit entitled "Suddenly You're Sewing."
• Stepmother of actor Tim Reid II.
• Went to Northwestern University where she pursued a degree in Interior Design and Architecture.
• Stepmother of actress Tori Reid.
• Born on Manhattan's west side and graduated from Bronx High School of Science.
• A well-known cover model with the Eileen Ford Agency, she was the first black woman to grace the cover of "Glamour" magazine.
